KotiJoki was born from a belief: the things in a child's room should be worthy of being there.
"Koti" is Finnish for home. "Joki" means river. We are a Finnish-American brand, and everything we make is built to last — through stories, through seasons, through childhood.
Our first castle was inspired by the Château de Chenonceau — one of Europe's most beloved châteaux, built across the Cher River in France's Loire Valley. We believed a child's room deserved that same grace. So we built it in solid wood — a castle that holds their stories, all of them.
This is not just storage. It is a daily ritual. A child standing before their wall, deciding which story tonight. A parent who didn't spend the morning hunting for a missing dragon.
